- What is the purpose of this website?
- The purpose of this website is to teach others the things I have learned
throughout over thirty years of Christian experience, Bible study and prayer. This
is in obedience to the commission where Jesus told the church to go out into
the world and teach others the things He had taught them.
- Why Would a Person Need (or want) to Know God?
- There comes times in the life of every person when either they or someone
around them finds themselves in need of the help of someone greater than themselves.
If they have never studied and sought to learn about God, they may not know
what to do, where to go or who to ask. Since God has made each person, He cares
about each one and wants to have a personal relationship with them. That is
why He sent His son into the world. He wants to be a part of our lives and
help us reach the full potential of what He has created us for.
- Why Would a Person Need to Learn to Pray?
- Prayer is talking with God, communicating with a Being that cannot be seen
or felt. Many people pray at times during their life but don't find it effective.
God has set forth in His Word (the Bible) principles and instructions regarding
prayer as well as other things. If we can learn to follow His instructions
and pray (and live) as He has taught, we can be assured of receiving answers
to our prayers and help in times of trouble. It is always best to read the
instructions. The Bible is God's "Instruction Handbook" for life.
- Where Can I Find Out More About You
- I have been involved in various churches for the last thirty years, teaching, leading praise and worship, leading prayer groups, helping my husband pastor at the same time as raising five boys.
